Important message to all Parents - Updated 25/03/2020
As per the government’s advice (see below), Villiers High School is currently closed to all pupils except those who have parents who are key workers or who are considered to be vulnerable. All other pupils have been set work online on google classroom (see link below) and many have been handed printed packs of work or books to be getting on with.
“The school works hard to involve parents in their child’s education” - Ofsted 2015.
We believe that you must engage and collaborate with parents to give each student the greatest chance of success in their academic life and future. This is why we strive to involve parents in every step of their child’s education through clear communication.
71% of parents surveyed in the Ofsted Parent View said they would recommend the school to other parents - To see more of what our parents have said about the school click here.
As parents to a student at Villiers, to allow us to support your child’s development, we ask that you help us by;
Seeing that your child attends school every day in full school uniform, on time and well equipped
Making the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect your child’s work or behaviour
Supporting the school’s policies and guidelines for behaviour
Supporting your child in homework and other opportunities for home based learning
Attending parents’ evenings about your child’s progress and support other school events if possible
Checking the Student Planner and sign it each week
