Psychology

Overview:

Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour and experience and students will get the chance to discover more about the fascinating nature of human behaviour. Research in psychology seeks to understand and explain thought, emotion, and behaviour. Students will learn about the memory and how it works, psychological problems faced by individuals, the brain and neuropsychology, and psychology of language, thought and communication. Students will also learn how to deal with data and how to conduct psychological research. This is a great topic for those wanting to go on to study A-Levels, as it will offer students the chance to improve their written communication and critical evaluation skills.
